I know this is a long shot, and search did not yield any usable results... but can anyone tell me why my PS2 video will not come through my Yamaha RX-V992 A/V receiver? I've tried all video inputs on the receiver, and I get sound and a black screen on my TV. If I unplug the video, the screen changes to blue (normal for an imput without a signal). The PS2 will work fine when plugged directly in to the TV, but I want to be able to run the sound through the receiver. Thanks in advance! |

Thanks for replying Chauncey... haven't solved the problem, but I was able to work around it buy running the video directly into the TV, and the sound through the receiver. It helps having a universal remote with Macros that will switch inputs automatically. Only reason I can think of why the video won't play though is because the PS2 is also a DVD player, and it's anti-pirating tech or something. |
