i have a 61" lcd rear projected tv. it allows hd component imput and vga. Which is the best for my tv or just best in general? thanks

IIRC, they're the same, but component cables carry analog signal where VGA carry digital. Don't quote me :-)

and if you can, test them both. :-)

i say that b/c my HD cable box can output High-Def through HDMI and Component Video, but the Component actually looks clearer, and more vivid. all depends on where it is coming from i suppose.
