My controller port 1 died. Kids broke the 3 alignment pieces off in the port. Have been using it by carefully inserting plug, worked ok then died. Straightened and tightened the sockets and replaced the alignment parts, no help. Would inserting the controller plug upside-down fry something on MB? Any help is greatly appreiciated....
