If you have a slim PS2, plug in a phone line to the modem jack or an ethernet cable to the ethernet network jack. You also have to have a broadband connection on the other end if connected with ethernet and the other end of the phone line to a phone jack in your wall. |

If you don't have a slim PS2, buy a network adapter and follow the same process. |

Really? Is it high speed though, or is it via phone modem? |

But do you have to have a DSL line or can you just use a regular phone jack? |

Yes, both will work. Sony doesn't make you pay like Microsoft does. I just can't get online with SSX 3 with my router. Something to do with port availability and putting the PS2 in a "demilitarized zome" or something or other. |

Actually, I just found out yesterday it was that Sony decided to remove that particular server. Because it's free unlike Xbox Live, they have to shut down certain servers to save on $$. Bullshit. |
