thats what i was telling u last night ! - instead of paying lik $400 4 a used 13w7 + s/h , get a brand new IDmax for $300 . Thats what i would do - sounding almost as great 4 1/2 price , can't get any better than that ! .

i have decided go with 2 idmax 12" with a jl1000/1 powering each. since i already have one amp i am going to try to get a deal on the 2 subs and 1 amp.

That would b such a sweet sytem which i would personally do 4 myself $ not d drawback but i'm afraid of Thieves & how u gotta change your parking whereever habits .
Only good thing about having audio in a Sedan is that nobody can tell what your trunk has but with my wagon its visible . I'm thinking about when i'm doing my new install 2 do a stealth setup with like my HU hidden under d seat & possibly my amps too - also want 2 do 1 of those trunk pull cover thingy so my big sub box would be hidden . very stealth so no1 walking past my ride will even have a clue to my us$1700/1800 system which iz almost 2 like 2mths some1 with a good job salary ..... |

superfly-i went to woofersetc today. there is nothing much to see there. you are better looking in the internet. they didn't have one jl audio or idmax stuff on display. i wanted to see the idmax up close but i couldn't. they did say they have it in their warehouse though. |

i didn't get a chance to ask about the prices cause its a small place and it was filled with people. it was crazy over there. busy as hell.
people just stuffed inside the little store.
bunch of cars outside trying to show off to everyone there that their car is the loudest.
damn i couldn't even hear myself think at one point.
but i loved being there. it was awesome to hear bunch of systems by all these people.
next time i'll take a picture of that place from the outside and show you. there was no sign that said woofersetc.com outside so i had to find that place by the address they gave on their site. |

btw if you are a kickers and alpine fan, well that whole block is full of stores that carry them. woofersetc is the only place on that block that carries eclipse, jl, image dynamics, and other popular brands.

well 2day i had nothing better 2 do ,so i cut some 3.25" wide pvc pipe to tune lower my experimental box for my Pioneer subs . I cut d pipe 9 3/8" long 2 = 35hz freq . Box was built 1.65cuft so i guestimated vol @ around 1.55cu.ft or so cause u gotta - for d sub's vol & i used d cal on the12volt.com . Siliconed d ports on 2day so if i get time 2morrow , will hook it back up .
My Rs was posted by my bro down 2 me on Thurs so i'm supposed 2 receive it this wk sometime ... |

somehow i like d the 4ohm parallel to 2ohm option better
U may not agree with this , but if i were getting 2 IDmax i'd use 1" mdf & build a SEALED box for really sweet SQ - i'm getting to shape my music for more SQ . With your 2 ID it should still get plenty loud .
When i get my Rs i'm gonna try a sealed box 1st & also build a slot ported box too & see which i like better . I luv building boxes & wished i had a reason 2 build 1 every wk -lol ..... |

yeah that pioneer looks like a monster.
oh and thx rovin for your recomendation on the idmax. don't get me wrong, i like the type Rs but i just wanted more power. 2000wrms coming out of my trunk is going to satisfy me.
also the shine my car has is not from wax. it is the soap i use when i wash it. i use a carwashing soap from turtle wax. when you wash with that it leaves the car looking like it is washed. |

yea i use that same Turtle wax car wash thing 7 it does work well - i have a gallon of it using more than a whole yr now , should b washing my car a lil more often cause it still shines but needs a buffing .

i visited over 70 of the popular car audio companies & saved each 1 of their spec pages so thats y if any body posts about any product , i just open my files quickly & check it out .
Also bookmarked i have the12volt/bcae1 wiring guide & sub ohms conf pages & www.sonicelectronix.com , www.onlinecarstereo.com & www.woofersetc.com also , so its easy to just log on to each & get some info fast .

Used 2 get called up often by d teachers for going to school after 8am .
Now that i'm my own boss , i wake up around 8am , no mad hurrying cause i make it in time 2 open my shop around 10am but i do finsh work @ 7pm , 6 days a wk ...... |

my friend works is a manager at wal-mart so i got it earlier today XBOX 360 , dont waste ur money, i only got one game (Madden 06) there is no franchise or nothin just regular stuff nothin extra, it turns on cool though.lol |

work. it's the week b4 Thanksgiving.....and i work at a grocery store. lol
my audioshop is closing because the owner isn't a very good businessman. he could do the labor no problem, but when it came to finance.....that's where he fu(ked up.
sux, thpose were my best friends, and i could go up there anytime i wanted and chill with them, now they will all have different jobs and i'll never get to see them and hang out. really sux.....no idmax for 240 either.....damit!!! |

Personally i think next gen consoles could have held back about 2 yrs more !
look @ d graphics that is still on d current systems - could still us by . I think too that too many games r coming too fast over d past 3yrs or so & its getting too generic .
Its war with xbox 360 /ps3 cause neither of them will b lacking in d hardware section but its d games that will make ppl buy either 1 .
Doesn't mean that all those ppl yesterday will not buy a ps3 too - more 1/2 of them will also rush d ps3 & maybe less with also buy new Nintendo revolution .
Just like car audio - ppl have their brands & there r also d 'must have them all crowd too' ..... |

I just seen an XBOX 360 on ebay for $1600 and it had 42 bids on it! That's crazy for a gaming system. Another one came with a 51" tv and that one was selling for $9000. The 51" tv isn't valued nearly that much! It's Crazy!!!!!! |

that's what I have been reading......they say that the stores had line ups from like 4pm yesterday. They said that they gave out tickets to the first so many people and whoever got one, could come back when they opened to pick it up. One dude said that he managed to grab 2 (between him and his gf) and he's putting them up on e-bay for $2500 a piece!!! He didn't even want one, but he bought 2 to make a huge profit. I wouldn't even pay the regular price for one, let alone $1600 |

Look what I'm training on in school now. It's not exactly like that but this is what I'll be working on when I get's out of school. These operators make about $100,000-120,000 a year in western Canada! That's crazy money for driving!!

It can be if your not careful. I don't think that it is considered a dangerous job tho, but it is stressful. Working with something this big do come with a lot of consequences if your not careful. I'm planning on moving to the mines in about a year time to where the big bucks are. I think it will be extremely fun! |
