""nice alternative to the jl w7s? i mean its half the price."" thats what i was telling u last night ! - instead of paying lik $400 4 a used 13w7 + s/h , get a brand new IDmax for $300 . Thats what i would do - sounding almost as great 4 1/2 price , can't get any better than that ! . now where is CB - stayed up too late last night on d forum & now can't wake up -lol !.... |

yea i work up late this morn so thoughts & my typing are not matching up too good as yet -lol U really do take my advice do u -lol That would b such a sweet sytem which i would personally do 4 myself $ not d drawback but i'm afraid of Thieves & how u gotta change your parking whereever habits . Only good thing about having audio in a Sedan is that nobody can tell what your trunk has but with my wagon its visible . I'm thinking about when i'm doing my new install 2 do a stealth setup with like my HU hidden under d seat & possibly my amps too - also want 2 do 1 of those trunk pull cover thingy so my big sub box would be hidden . very stealth so no1 walking past my ride will even have a clue to my us$1700/1800 system which iz almost 2 like 2mths some1 with a good job salary ..... |

Stole this off a local T&T forum 4 u guys (poorly worded but its funny ...) >A hippie gets on a bus and spies a pretty young nun. > >He sits down next to her and asks, 'can we have sex?' >'No', she replies,'I am married to God'. > >She stands up and gets off the bus at the next stop. The bus driver, who >overheard the conversation, turns to the hippie and says, 'I can tell >you how to get to have sex with her!' > >'Yeah?', says the hippie. > >'Yeah!', says the bus driver. 'She goes to the cemetery every Tuesday >night at midnight to pray. So all you have to do is dress up in a robe >with a hood, put some of that luminous powder stuff in your beard and >pop up in the cemetery claiming to be God.' > >The hippie decides to give it a try and arrives in the cemetery dressed >as suggested on the next Tuesday night.'I am God', he declares to the >nun keeping the hood low about his face. > >'Have sex with me.The nun agrees without question but begs him to >restrict himself to @nal i/ntercourse as she is desperate not to lose her >virginity.'God' agrees and promptly has his wicked way with her. > >As he finished he jumps up and throws back his hood with a flourish. > >'Ha Ha!', he cries, 'I am the hippie!' > >'Ha ha!', cries the nun, 'I am the bus driver!'

lol thats a good one. superfly-i went to woofersetc today. there is nothing much to see there. you are better looking in the internet. they didn't have one jl audio or idmax stuff on display. i wanted to see the idmax up close but i couldn't. they did say they have it in their warehouse though. |

oh , thats too bad . With the vast inventory they carry that could b expected . U should have made a request 2 have an Idmax out so when u go back u would get 2 actually see 1 in real life . How r their showroom prices - same as online or higher ? I found out on Wed that there actually is some1 in my country that imports them .... |

i didn't get a chance to ask about the prices cause its a small place and it was filled with people. it was crazy over there. busy as hell. people just stuffed inside the little store. bunch of cars outside trying to show off to everyone there that their car is the loudest. damn i couldn't even hear myself think at one point. but i loved being there. it was awesome to hear bunch of systems by all these people. next time i'll take a picture of that place from the outside and show you. there was no sign that said woofersetc.com outside so i had to find that place by the address they gave on their site. |

btw if you are a kickers and alpine fan, well that whole block is full of stores that carry them. woofersetc is the only place on that block that carries eclipse, jl, image dynamics, and other popular brands. there are more or less 20 car audio stores on that block. |

I cut d pipe 9 3/8" long 2 = 35hz freq . Box was built 1.65cuft so i guestimated vol @ around 1.55cu.ft or so cause u gotta - for d sub's vol & i used d cal on the12volt.com . Siliconed d ports on 2day so if i get time 2morrow , will hook it back up . My Rs was posted by my bro down 2 me on Thurs so i'm supposed 2 receive it this wk sometime ... |

somehow i like d the 4ohm parallel to 2ohm option better U may not agree with this , but if i were getting 2 IDmax i'd use 1" mdf & build a SEALED box for really sweet SQ - i'm getting to shape my music for more SQ . With your 2 ID it should still get plenty loud . When i get my Rs i'm gonna try a sealed box 1st & also build a slot ported box too & see which i like better . I luv building boxes & wished i had a reason 2 build 1 every wk -lol ..... |
