I have the monster component cables and the monster optical. I'm thinking of going Xbox to the surround sound with the monster cables optical and all then buying component cables to go from the surround sound to the TV but my surround sound only has one component output/input. I would also like to watch Cable in surround sound without switching cables. ??? I was wondering if I can run Xbox to TV then put the sound cables to the surround sound but that would be trial and error cuz I am not sure how to do it.

for the cables if u only hav 1 hole to put the cable in buy a spliter type thing. u screw it into the hole and there is a lot more holes on the device. i had to do it on my TV cus it only had 1 too. u can get them at home deepo. thats where i got mine
