Yep im over powering my subs and they take it with ease. Also i think my 4 L7's will get louder than 2 solo x's. Also dont forget the 12" L7 is rated at 750 and the 15" is rated at 1000

My bro got the se today he has not hooked it up, but this is the first time i have ever seen the 15 se. Its pretty light. must weigh around 15-20 pounds, he should have it installed by this weekend (I might help) he also got some 4" kappa's for his front doors so he should have an ok system. |

Rovin Hey i dint end up buying another suv Instead I bought a 1996 mustang excellent condition for 3900 and only 30k miles on it! Man it rides so smooth. I think this was a heck of a deal i bought off this old guy.lol
Chauncey how Fucked up is the rim because i remember my bro hit a pothole one time and his rim got really bent alot He dindt wanna take it to a repair shop cause they were gonna say its ruined so my bro got a towel put it over the dent and started beating the sh!t out of it with a sledge hammer lol and it actually worked you cant even hardly tell there was a big @ss dent on it. It looks normal but some scratches on it. He then sold them and since i own a shop i hooked him up with some new rims for his ride.lol
And how did he scratch the paint he must of been hauling @ss or sumthing. Man that sucks this happened but like the old saying goes sh!t happens.

i've given reviews b4 about my deck - Nemen will find this info useful cause he was asking me about it ....
1- sq is tops
2- features might be too much 4 some ppl while others not so
3- features could have been easier 2 acccess
4- in bright sunlight display fails kinda miserably (even my yr old JVC showed brighter/clearer)
5- graphics fairly good though i was expecting it 2 b more smoother
6- Bottom line d performance outweights all d other problems though ........

lol chad did you drop your face plate or something. Im pretty sure it will work cause i have a Pioneer DEH-P640 the one with the dolphins and stuff but i dropped the faceplate and know icant see nothing except for the little green lights on the buttons. I had a face plate from a pioneer DEH--P6300 and it kinda works but the graphics are different so im pretty sure it will work. |

I just need subs and amp.i used to have a digital camera but i dont even know what happened to itlol imma have to buy a new one. But i think im gonna go with like sealed box with two assasins i talked to tyler and he really likes them he says sq is excellent. And the space in the trunk from that mustang is SMALL lol I think i might have to go ith a single sub set up. |

well tyler stepped up from volv 2 AA so d difference 2 him would be like day/night just like me from pioneer 306 to Rs - but honestly Rs does have good sweet low bass & great SPL . But now everty dog has em .
Here's an idea try either IDQ series or some MMATS p2 subs - bet nobody has those ........

i want a sub or subs that hit low first i gotta measure my trunk see what i could fit im thinking the biggest that could fit in there are 12"s but im not even sure if i can fit 2 subs lol.
MMATS never heard of them But i heard idq's have excellent sound quality But you think they hit low I listen to mostly rap music and some music with drums and accordians and stuff lol.
I was actually thinking of going for a jl 8W7 I heard they hit hard and sound nice And i want people to hear me bumping and when they say dang what you got i there ill be like 1 8" sub so they can be like wow. lol |

nemen.....i have the pioneer avh-5700dvd so i don't have a detatchable face. its my friend. he has the pioneer hu and on ebay we saw a face for premier which looked the same except it said premier on it. it was only going for $20 so he was thinking of buying it. but anyways its more than $120 now so we said forget it. i still wanted to know if it would work or not though.
rovin.....i don't just want pure spl. i still want good sound. okay what i want is something that is loud with decent sq at higher frequencies. so i would have a good bass to mid transition. |

No we don't
He told me his mom is a Trini & he joined on this forum in Dec while he was here in Trinidad on vacation & when he signed on he used TnT as his address but i think he lives in Texas i think he said . He went back 2 d US after d xmas season. He , Ne$ter & i have 2 threads in d tv show section where we talk too .
I live in Trinidad , Tobago is a much smaller isle NE of us but both r 1 - Tobago is much more quiet & more tourism oriented while big trini is more industialized like a city in d US .
Both r nice places but in trini we have a serious crime problem about 4ys now - 26+ maybe more murders 4 d yr so far -sigh ! ......... |

yea chad - J is really a cool dude & has a good forum disposition i never once saw him post anything mean/smart alec like another some1 . Isaac & J r = imo & they never give crappy advice. I know u know hold me in high regards but like i told u i'm prolly about 10% of d level they r cause they been doing this car audio stuff @ d time we all were lil kids . Maybe 5/10yrs down d line we all might be regarded highly as they r now.
Though a born Trini - I CAN'T STAND "CARNIVAL" !!! - imo its a total waste of time/energy . I admit d costumes maybe nice 2 look @ but calypso music 2 me SUX ! . Hearing live steelpan music is awright 2 me but sux hearing it on d radio . In all i say BAH HUMBUG 2 carnival ...
Nemen - well idk if u know but Nest is only 14yrs old & still attends school so he doesn't have much time now that school is in but i seen him post a few evenings & on wk ends . He a good smart guy though .
Well maybe if u come back next xmas u could see/hear it -lol........ |

i got home at 1pm and started working on my car. as you know my speaker blew so i ordered the dynaudio. well it never came cause they had problems. i got a full refund though. my friend had some kicker 6.5s coaxials he wasn't using so i installed those for now. they sound better than i thought. of course my jl was better. the reason it took long is cause i had to make a mdf ring. i am just getting better at installation day by day. |

nt sure i get my parents tax money for the car and them mine is going towards the system i want a grand am gt for the car and with my money i will get the w6's first build the box and while doing that i will get my comp set and then most likely my hu and finall might take me a little longer but my amps cause ill prob use my old one for a while still unsure about the comp set though ive gotten so much imput im not even sure |

just got done changing my box to sealed. it was ported before but i put a plug on it. now its just a sealed box. it sounds so much better now.
seattle is kicking azz. i stopped watching the broncos and pittsburg game after the start of second quarter. i don't even know what happened. i am assuming steelers won. |

well chauncey i was until the middle of second quarter. i knew it was going to be a blowout so i decided to go buy a sealed box and put my subs in there.
btw the indoaudio.com refunded my money for the dynaudio comps. they had problems. so i decided to order another jl audio xr650 comp set. they sound alright. with the money left over i got a pair of boston acoustics 6x9s. in the mean time i got a pair of kicker 6.5 coaxial set in my door cause i need music and i couldn't wait for the comps to get here. |

generally above .5 should be ported but there r some subs that r exceptions 2 this rule (i read this somewhere) maybe bcae1 or 12volt ,can't remember where .
on AA site i c they a sealed rec vol too so idk maybe it can also do well in both sealed/ported boxes .
don't just follow my .02 cents - Run a thread on it or better yet call & speak 2 that chad dude who ppl say is very friendly . They look good on paper & price is damn good too ....... |

whoa, that's disgusting. Better watch it tho, the mod's mighten like that too well. I seen on TV once that this guy just literly lid down and ate in his bed 24/7. He was in there for years and never came out. He eventually got too big for the door! He had to go see a doctor becasue he was really sick, and they had to cut a section of the wall out and drive a forklift in and pick him up and lay him in the ambulance!! It's crazy |
