I'd like to hear from anyone that has one of these computers....I just purchased this one on ebay. I'm currently using a Compaq 5304 and considered this an upgrade, but am now unsure if I've made a wise investment. I've only been able to find 2 consumer reviews and neither were very optimistic. THANKS! |

AMD 1800 is fine for anything I can think of today. The one thing Compaq does w/ their PC's that I hate is they have all these nifty utilties/apps that load on start up and horribly reduce system performance. Try getting some of those to not load at startup, or consider a memory upgrad to like 512MB. |

Compared to any other branded PCs you can go for Compaq Products. Their systems are good. They provide a free online esupport. Email support: http://productfinder.support.hp.com/tps/Hub?h_tool=email&h_lang=en&h_cc=us&h_pro duct=top Chat support: http://www.hp.com/support/presariochat |
