Ok guys. I'm new here, i have an intermediate knowledge on computers. I currently have a Dell Inspiron E1501 but it has become very slow & the brackets that hold up the screen are broken so the screen does not stay up. I was thinking about buyin a new one but they are very expensive. I wanted to try HP because i here those are really good & dell has given me so many problems over the years. i want to know what you guys think about HP laptops & if i should go with that brand or another one & also where is it that i can get a new laptop for cheap. I'm looking for something up-to-date, does not have vista & is around $600.
