I have a compaq Laptop and suddenly the screen went black. I cannot see anything on the screen. If i connect external monitor to the laptop that monitor works perfect and everything else works perfect. If i connect the Tv to Laptop through S-video cable, it works perfect also. All the other softwares are working perfect the only issue is that the LCD screen went black.

Can anyone please suggest anything? Is it the Bulb issue or the inverter? Is there easy way to check the inverter with multimeter?

Thanks in advance for helping with this issue. Your help in this regard is highly appreciated.
