I have a wireless desktop in my bedroom that has Vista Home Premium (32 Bit) and me and my roommate both have laptops with Windows XP. We just got a new N router and both the laptops connect with ease. My desktop connects to the network also but the signal is terribly low and frequently drops off the internet. My laptop is sitting right beside it and has 5 bars. The N router is only 15 feet away. I have tried doing a clean boot to see if any software was causing problems but that didn't help at all. The new desktop is older than the laptops but it has Vista. I always used a G router and never had a problem so do you guys have any suggestions?
