Hey guys;

I am a film and video student and have worked with Avid and Final Cut pro. Since, I've been in the market for a new mac. However, to my astonishment, I found a well kept Mac G4 in the alley on my way home from school. Yes it runs! but very slow. Can you guys give me any tips so I can beef up this old-bad boy? I will post some pics within the hour.

To beef it up I recommend that you open her up and blast every last bit of dust out of it. Doing that will decrease the heat inside which will improve performance greatly. I'd also do a full wipe of the system, start it off clean and fresh. Disable all applications and features that you're not using to free up resources and increase performance. Awesome find.
