I hope I'm doing this correctly. Anyway, I store most of my music on 2 external hard drives. A 500G and a 1000G. Recently I noticed that I am now unable to run my Ipod and the 1000G HD at the same time. Thus making it impossible to load my Ipod without transfering the music to drive c first. The indicator in itunes program freezes up. If I unplug the ipod then th HD will work fine. If I unplug the HD then the ipod will work fine.

I have since dumped and reloaded my computer op system (XP home) as I normally do about once a year, but that didn't solve the problem. Is one or the other causing too much of a "load" or something?? This never happened before. Any advice?? Tks//Chris M.
