my dad got himself a new comp so i got his old pavilion dv4000.
the wireless button at the middle-top of the keyboard is dead. doesnt work. doesnt even make a click sound when u press on it. dunno how but it got screwed up.
any way of activating the wireless without that button?
i have tried everything i could think of, but nothing worked.
any suggestions anyone?

plus, i installed the drivers about 3 times now but i still cant see any wireless cards in network adapters in device manager...BUT, when i boot up the comp, HP wireless assistant pops up and says he didnt find any wireless devices he could work with...is it referring to my button problem or do i have a driver problem as well?

btw sorry if this topic has already been discussed, the search function didnt work for some reason...kept saying "page cannot be displayed".
