ok i have a new toshiba laptop.....it went dead like 2 days ago and now when i turn it on the screen loads but never gets to the loggin part just goes to a blank black screen and shows only the mouse

can someone tell me how to fix it???

u powering it off all the way? put in the recue disks that came with it.
