Just brought a usb. 8gb drive. It will format to 7.85 gb. But when I try to load a file 7.3gb, it comes up and says drive is full when only 4gb has been loaded. HELP! |

It might have something to do with the file system used to format the drive. I know if I want to copy a file larger than 2gig to a disk in Nero, it makes me use the udf file system instead of iso. So maybe the same thing is going on here. If its just for transport to another PC, you could use winrar to split the file into pieces, add the install file for winrar as well incase you need it at the destination, and do it that way. |

Its more likely a fat32/ntfs formatting problem. Fat32 partitions will not allow any files over 4gig (makes dvd creation a problem) but NTFS will. So reformat the flash drive with ntfs and it should accept the whole shebang. |
