Does anybody here know of good third party manufacturers offering good power supplies units for laptops. By good I mean properly shielded with good quality internal components that will not cause issues when working with audio. The problem I have with my HP NX 7400 is that its power supply introduces noise that is very audible once I connect headpphones /speakers to my firewire sound card. But - if the laptop runs off the batteries - there is no issue!
Can anyone recommend me good power supplies for laptops?
