I just built my first computer. after getting everything up and running, I decided that I wanted more. So I bought another identical video card. XFX 8600gts. I installed the card and windows and the driver card both recognized the card and my nvidia control panel recognized the card and let me enable SLI mode. This all went very easy. windows poped up and told me that SLI has been enabled. This is when the problem started. when I ran a game "Crysis" everything froze with a black screen. I get the same results from any game I try and run. I really dont know where to start....any help?? I have an XFX 680i LT motherboard. Sigma 500w power supply |

nothing wrong with Vista. sounds like a user issue to me if you think it sucks so badly. get the latest drivers for the 8 series from nvidia.com, then install them with both cards set up in SLI with the golden finger board in place. after installing the drivers, reboot as needed, then right click on the desktop go to the nvidia control panel listed in teh context menu enable SLI, and if desired, under 3D settings, enable SLI visual display so you can see the SLI in action during benchmarks and such. all done I have no trouble running 3-way SLI 9800GTX cards under vista ultimate 64-bit |

I bet the scaling works great when running 3 way SLI!!! *Sarcasm* It's a shame that a single 4870x2 from ATI walks all over GTX 280s in SLI except in Crysis. |

There's plenty wrong with Vista by the way. If you can't admit it your credibility is no good here. |
