My notebook, as described in the title, AC adapter has a beeping sound coming from the adapter and the green LED is not turning on. The Beep is repeated. When plugged intot the computer it shows to not be charging

Is there anything i can do to internally fix this problem? Or am I better off buying a new AC adapter?

Wow a new one to me I have never had a charger for a laptop to beep at me

first check to see if its still under warrenty

if its not I would check into prices for a replacment on the net maybe ebay. it will be cheaper then buying directly from sony.
