My computer doesnt play audio. I tired using WMP and the sound doesnt work but the picture is fine. When i play music this message comes up ""Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly."" |

It seems that your pc doesnot have sound drivers or Drivers may be corrupted.
check device manager for it , if you see yellow mark over Audio and sound then
install Audio drivers from your motherboard cd . |

Yes, you should install the CD which comes with your Motherboard because it wll be compatible with it. Try it and I think your problem will be fixed. |
