im helping friend to wipe his drive and instal xp . he has win98se . i have the wipdrive cd but i could not do it . it does not boot from the cd . i went to the bios but there is no way in changing the sequence for rebboting. it;s crazy . anyhelp thanx.

hit f8 when the system boots. Should get you to the boot screen so you can select the cdrom drive. But you can just put in the winxp disc and boot from that to format the drive, formatting it will erase all the other data. Just makes sure it over writes the partition.
