Hi everyone,
I hoping someone can help me out in what is becoming a bad situation.
I am a guy who is living my life, relatively low key...

PROBLEM: a third party has advised me that a nosy-neighbor is accessing/seeing what I/my network is viewing (content) on the internet.

QUESTION: CAN I STOP THIS ???

in passing, I've been advised that I could setup ssh/ssl. BUT, my real concern is the connectivity that takes place outside of my private network(btw, which is protected by WPA-2)

ANY IDEAS !!!
a)HOW CAN I DETECT IT? - I need to collect evidence to report it to the Police.
b)STOP IT FROM HAPPENING ANYMORE!!!

one word, wait actually two words lol.

packet snifer
http://www.wireshark.org/

download and install it, run it....it will tell you everything that is happening on your network.

or whats your setup. wired or wireless, u mention wpa-2 so im thinking wireless.....what the heck wait a minute if your protected by wpa-2, and you set a strong passphrase theres like no way somebody going to be cracking that unless there like just sitting there hours, weeks, months trying to capture your infomation to get your passphrase to then be able to access your wireless.......

or turn off the wireless and just use a wired connection, unless your neighbor has physically tapped into your network/cable/wire which would mean deep crap for the neighbor you should be good.
