Hi, I am building a budget computer in a mATX case. Aside from the case, I want to spend under $200 for the processor, under $135 for the motherboard (with integrated graphis, just for emergencies), and $125 for the RAM. I haven't decided about the Hard Disc and I do have some DVD-R drives lying around so I would really appreciate all sorts of recommendations. Thanks, Stefan |

Well the processor will sorta dictate the motherboard and ram that you need. In that price bracket, a good Athlon dual core processor would work nicely. For motherboards, stick with a decent name brand like Gigabyte, Asus, MSI, etc. Same with RAM, Kingston, Corsair, OCZ, etc are all respected names in the industry. |

I agree with Stephen. I would add to his mobo list: XFX, EVGA, Abit and DFI. |
