Hi,

I am considering buying a used Dell Optiplex pc. I want to connect this pc to my Sony 60" rptv. The tv is capable of 1080p resolution. I heard that getting a video card capable of dvi output could be plugged into the tv through a dvi-HDMI cable. Would this setup allow me to get really high resolution on the tv screen?

i think you would have to get a very high end graphix card if not 2 of them to get great resolution with such a big tv. correct me if i'm wrong.
