On my home desktop, I principally use a USB-connected headset with microphone. (Creative SB Live audio card.) However,I would like to add a inexpensive USB speaker when I don't want to wear the headphones. I would like to unplug the headset and plug in the speakers without changing audio settings. That is, the USB speakers should not need an audio cable connection. Many I have seen use the USB for power only. Is it unrealistic to think I can swap the headset and speakers back and forth by merely unplugging one and plugging in the other?? Any suggestions on model/brand? Sound quality is NOT a major factor. |
