why is my computer freezeing up all the time .when she freezes up i have to turn her off and back on then she is ok for a little whilesome times i have to unplug her andplug back in to get her to start up i have a MDG windows xp |

Freezing can often be overheating. Blow out the CPU heatsink and power supply with compressed air if needed. |

A lot of things can cause freezing (faulty power supply, memory, etc). Are you getting any error messages? You can try a bit of dusting, but your system BIOS should give you the temperature that you are operating at, so you can check to see where you were when you crashed. PS: If you have a diagnostic CD that came with your PC, now would be the time to use it. |
