Hey guys, just got my network setup! No longer wireless!! I am just wondering though, there are two computers in my house and I'm trying to find a way if I can message the person on the other computer, from mine. I was thinking about msn but is there anything simpler, that i can just install on both comps and communicate? It would be great if the message would just pop-up on the other computer maybe? Just wondering though, if anyone has any ideas they'd be greatly appreciated, thanks guys!

If you just want to send a simple message you can use the "net send" command. Of course, this is not chat, but just sending a single pop-up message to the other computer(s).

Ex: net send <computername> "This is my messasge"
