I have a Maxtor 250GB hard drive. When i restart my computer I Get the UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME and the deathly blue screen. I tested the hard drive said I have a Error Code 7. Wondering if this is fixable or if the hard drive is bad and if i'll have to get a new one.
bad harddrive, i believe that error code 7 is bad headers. If you try to reformat it or reinstall you probally continue to get the same problems if the install even goes threw right?
