Hi-
Does anybody know if there is a newer version of Media Center that allows you to record HD programming? Thanks!

No. Microsoft is all about proprietary stuff, copy protection and digital content management.

If you find it, post it and let us know :-)

one solution ronnie...

you can make an autoinstaller of a dashboard from a dvd for an xbox, plug that harddrive in your computer, run the auto installer, take that HD out of the computer and put it in the xbox, then download a program called configmagic to your xbox while running the HD your want to record and run that program. that program will let you record,softmod,unlock,lock,clone,and adjust just about antyhing you want to for your HD.
I had to clone a HD but i used that method and it was quite easy-i can teach you how if you want to learn
let me know!
