hi, i would appreciate any help or advice on how to get the best possible sound for playing media(musci/dvd/films/tv) through my pc.i currently have an integrated amp(marantz pm7200)and 4 pretty good quality speakers(not surround sound)connected to my pc,my soundcard being an audigy 2 zs. is there a better way/technique to improve things even more eg.a top of the range sound card/a surround sound reciever/speakers instead of an int.amp etc?
any help would be appreciated.
thank you.

Using an external amp with the audigy zs is kind of silly. What you need is a good powerful set of 5.1 speakers that would plug into the sound card in at least 3 places (front rear and center/sub) or (green black ora/nge). You can get a set of 5.1 surround speakers with 250watts of power, or better, for around $175-$200 depending on sales etc.. The Audigy ZS is already capable of producing dolby digital surround so all you need are the speakers with enough power to satisfy your ear.
