I would like to connect my Dual 621 turntable to my Dell PC to record some of my old LPs to disk, most likely in MP3 format. I've heard that this might work through the microphone connection, but others have recommended I get a phono pre-amp and connect it between the turntable and the line in connector on the PC. What's the best way to do this?
