I need to convert the output of my UK digital terestrialTV box,(Euroscart out)to drive a Multisync monitor which automatically syncs to 15 kHz UK TV, or higher computer monitor frequency, whichever is detected via it's 15 pin HD connector. I will be ok to split off the audio myself, and the RGB outputs should be reasonably straight forward, as this is stated in the digibox manual to be : RGB blue signal out, RGB blue signal ground, on pins 5 & 7,with red & Green on pins 15 & 13, 11 & 9 respectively. But I think the sync signal is on two or more of the following: Fast blanking out, fast blanking ground, video out, video ground & switch voltage out. Can somebody tell me how to connect the pins 13 & 14 in the monitor 15 pin HD connector, (Which are H sync & V sync respectively) or will I have to obtain, or build a sync separator & invertor to get this arrangement working ?
