So I have a MacBoook Pro with an Intel Core Duo and an M-Audio Sonica Theater. The Sonica Theater is not compatible with the new computer because of the Intel chip. My speakers do not support optical input. They are the Klipsch Pro Media Ultra 5.1's. It has the green, orange, and black jack. I desperately need a sound card that someone knows of that is compatible and supports true 5.1 through USB or FireWire or a way to get an adapter that can convert those three cords to optical.

Any advice would be amazing.
