I just built a system for my aunt and have had nothing but trouble with it. I got the pc running and tried to install windows. The HD would format just fine but when it started copying files it would get to a certain point and then I would get an error message stating it couldn't copy a file. They were different every time and sometimes a retry would work but then I would get another copy error in a few seconds.
I thought it was either the RAM or MB and replaced them both with new parts from different companies. I put the new parts together and it completed the install just fine. Then a few days later she was installing some slot games and it started a reboot cycle where it would flash the windows logon screen and then reboot. I tried repairing windows and then I got the file copy error again.
I've tried a new HD and still the same error. Any help would be great, I just don't understand whats going on!
