Ok, so i've disabled the onboard audio card, installed the new sound card, installed the drivers, and changed the windows audio setting to 5.1 surround speakers. My problem is that when I attempt to play a song from the net or from a cd, i'm only getting sound from the left, right and sub. Rears and center do not work, but when I use the test speaker function that is on the software that came with the card, all of them produce sound. Does anybody know if there is a setting i'm supposed to change ? |

Yes, I did get this fixed, are you using the same sound card ? cause if you are then you have to adjust a setting in the sound card software that you installed with the card. I can't remember exactly what i did I have since sold the computer that I installed it in. There is a setting I believe on the 3rd tab in the program something to do wit "Q Sound" Fiddle around on that page. Sorry I couldn't be of more help |
