I have a 4x6 car speaker that i would like to hook up to my laptop. can anyone tell me in detail how to do this?

Your laptop won't put out enough power. The stereo out jack puts out a max of .5 watts! I bet that speaker needs at least 30 watts.

Also to be noted...don't hold that speaker too close to your laptop. The magnet field will erase or corrupt the hard drive.
