Hi, can anyone possibly help me. I have just changed my router to a wireless one which works fine. I also changed the sound card to a Trust 5.1 surround sound card but now im not getting any sound from the computer. The only sound im getting is the wrong key sound(if you know what i mean) but i cant play music or listen to anything. Could it be the router or the sound card or is there a conflict between the softwares? Any advice would be great, thanks!!!! |

When you say you changed the sound card did you have a card previously or were you using onboard sound? If you add a sound card to a motherboard that has sound already it must be disabled before the new card will work and the drivers should be removed as well. The driver removal also goes for one sound card to a new one as well. |

disable the integrated audio in the BIOS then install the new sound card and drivers. that should fix the problem. |
