Please help me. I'm trying to hook up a pc to a tv that neither have s-video. I know that I would need a vga to tv converter, but the only converters i see have s-video output, and my tv doesn't have it. I'm trying to hook my pc up to my tv so that i can watch my videos on the tv, an not the pc, also would the vga converter work? would it have sound too? please help me

if your tv has just composite inputs, you can buy a cheap ($40) graphics card it should have S out and come bundled with an S to Composite adapter cable. nvidia geforce 5200 is what i bought. anyway you will probably be better off upgrading the card.
this worked fine for me but be warned, image quality will not be outstanding! nice for video or games, but terrible for reading text. good luck |
