My computer lacks a Firewire port. Can I transfer Video clips (including audio) to my computer for editing using a USB2 cable?

Unfortunately, no. The USB will only take stills and will not be able to take audio.

it can be done, but too much hassle...it would be easier to get a firewire card for your PC
