Thread: CD Drive is not getting displayed in "My Computer" |

Hi,
I have computer with Windows XP and LG CD ROM drive. Recently.. I don't know what happend but the CD drive is not getting displayed in "My Computer". I could see only "C:" and "D:" drives.
If I see in the "Add Hardware Wizard", I can see the CD drive in the "Installed Hardware" list but with yellow colour icon.
I brought a new CDdrive and connected but still I couldn't see the drive in "My Computer"
Please suggest me. What could be the problem?

Yellow means some kind of hardware conflict. If you have 2 drives, one needs to be master and one needs to be slave. Look at the jumpers in the back of the drives. |
