I've been looking through different forums to find some way to hook up your computer to a tv. I'm good with computers but I really have no idea what people are talking about in these forums. Can someone dumb it down for me and tell me how to do this? |

Most of the newer LCD and Plasma TV's have a VGA input (the exact kind your computer monitor uses) and that's usually how it's done. Additionally, some computers video cards have composite (RCA) outputs for the video, so it's possible to hook your computer up to a TV as you would a VCR or DVD player. S-Video is another way it's done...you'll find s-video out on both desktops and laptops. After everything, all you need is the hardware and drivers to do it. |
