My T42 has an S video output but the blog for the ATI Radeon 7500 says that only RCA output is supported for this graphics card.

i've had a USB->TV output suggested but also have heard the quality can be patchy. I was also told that there is no way to convert the VGA output to a standard tv (with scart and s video)

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem or knows an alternative other than a new graphics card? I cant beleive the graphics card only supports RCA but there is no RCA output!... or is this common for laptops?

Solved it myslef. Thanks to all u budding grahics detectives anyways.

The tv card switches between s-video and the other input.

Also for IBM u need to switch the F7 video option to S-video.....
