Ok so I am looking at getting new speakers that I can use for my computer/stereo/dvd player/etc. I want to get Logitech, but which should I get? Z-5450 or Z-5500? |

Which one can you afford? Are you restricted to those choices? |

I wouldnt say that I'm restricted. I am trying to give my parents ideas for a gift for my upcoming birthday and I would really like a set of good speakers that I can use for just about everything in my room. That means computer, stereo, dvd player, xbox. Ideally, I want a set of speakers that I can hook all of these devices up to all at once and be able to switch back and forth as I please, like changing the input on a tv. Any suggestions? |

Do you have any opinion on which is better? Pros/cons of each? |

One is wireless the other is not. One needs extra batteries, thus an added expense. Prone to interference. Soundwise, the wired unit sounds better but nothing to write home about. |
