I have a dell dimmentions 8400 desktop how do I hook it up to my audio receiver and to my tv. I have a lot of music and videos on my pc that I want to watch on my tv and hear it with my suround sound thanks

For the sound, you'll need a headphone to RCA jack cable. Just plug one end into the sound output of the desktop, and the other into an input on your receiver. For the video, you'll need a video output from your video card that the TV can handle. VGA isn't commonly supported by most TV's, though newer ones might have it. You might need to get a better vid card that has composite or S-video out.
