Well how am I supposed to know that. I don't know what motherboard you have. Check your motherboard manual-it will tell you in there. |

Ahh, maybe you can look about google for tutorials about computer components and how they work! I found that about your computer. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&lang=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=1 140029&docname=c00487776 And that: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericDocument?lc=en&cc=us&docname=c00361570 If you look under expansion slots, theres only pci slots, no agp or pci express. You mentioned the fx 5200. I know a lot of people who have this card and for the price its ok. What do you want the card for specifically? |

Since your computer is new and pci is your only option an fx5700 is the best card to get. The FX is dated now but it's a bit better than the 5500 and 5200. For games, you can overclock it too if you wanted without too much worry. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814139166 |
