hey all, for those with the z5300e or z5500, i would like to know how long are the speaker cables. i want to mount the speakers to my wall near the ceiling on all 4 corners of my room. i want to know so that i can plan out everything and prepare to buy extensions. my room is 12'x 12'. the ceiling is the average 8'. |

I've used both setups before, and I can guarantee that you will need to get extensions, if you go with the z5300, the two front are roughly about 5ft and the two rear are about 7 ft, you'll need to go to the source and get some splitters, and some RCA extensions. The z5500 wiring I believe has changed, When I recieved a z5500 at my store the cables were analog, then a few months later the connection hook ups were bare wire which u had to put into the speaker manually, so which ever one u buy, you will need to extend the wiring. |
