I have a Gateway and it will restart then come back on then shut off like someone pulled the plug out then come back on then shut off it will keep doing that untill i unplug what is wrong with it? |

Most likely a virus-possibly even a prank. It's easy to edit a shutdown prompt into the registry.
Scan it with http://housecall.trendmicro.com and then install and scan it with Ad-Aware.
If that doesn't work, you might want to look into hardware issues, first the power supply and then go from there. Also make sure the temparature is at a normal level. |
