ey, im new here b/c i was browsing these forums and everyone seemed pretty knowledgeable/nice

so here is my problem

i just got some logitech 5500's and i've connected them via a digital coax cable. When i go through the "Effects" on my logitech controller my only options are

Stereo
Stereo X2
Prologic II Movie
Prologic II Music

my problem is, that i don't see any DTS or anything like thatfor when im watching movies.

also (the biggest problem) when i watch movies with the prologic II movie setting on, i get no voice from any of my speakers, i only get background noise and background music =/

any help is apprecated

you need a dts decoder in your dvd player program, your speakers dont matter in this case (I use intervideo winDVD)

change your input device. you get direct optical and coax. it must be on coax and must be connected to your control centre.....
