Ok I have been reading this forum for the past few weeks and doing alot of searching around as well as just tinkering with everything, but I am just worn out. I want to know if there is a way, or rather what would be the proper way to hook up my ALC850 card to an old Pro Logic receiver, and get surround sound, or if I can use the Digital Coax out and go into the analog RCA, but I don't see that as being feasible. Now I wonder if I should use my SB Live card or not and bypass the onboard altogether. Any help on this decision or the setup I refer to above would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Oh my system is the ASUS P4P800-E Deluxe P4 2.4GHZ Prescott 800MHZ, 512MB DDR400.

Phillips DVD-793C 5 Disc Changer (has Digi Out)
Magnavox 27" TV, component/composite/rca
RCA Dolby Pro Logic Surround System, RCA/composite only.
