I recently purchesed a new video card (the one named in the subject.) whenever I play GTA san andreas oR Half-Life 2 I get these lines comeing from all over the place. I can play doom 3 and it looks beautiful.
does anyone here know what im talking about, I got the latest drivers both video card and VIA chipset
I can try and post pictures later if its needed

I think I know what your on about. These lines are because the graphics are synchronizing. The reason it does this is so when the graphics change, i.e you move about quickly the scene needs to change quickly. Turn on v-sync. It will make sure that all 3d rendering is refreshed before anything is displayed. However, this may impact on performance of the game.
